Team Building
Whether your team would like an inhouse experience or outdoor activity in local bushlands, the team building program is a great way to reconnect your staff with each other and nature.
Incursions
Tailored for babies, toddlers, and kindy-aged children, our nature-based experiences cater to various age and developmental stages. These fully-resourced sessions can include child lead nature play, songs, puppetry, and optional elements like fire, tool use, and risky play. We offer flexibility with individual room or whole center bookings, and termly packages are available.
Excursions
Educators and children can enjoy a fully facilitated program designed and lead by a qualified ECT and Forest School Leader. Each session offers the flexibility to incorporate unstructured nature- based play, intentional teaching elements, interest-driven activities, exploration of the science of the seasons, bushcraft and arts, hut building, tool use, cooking over the fire and engaging group times. Site locations are currently within Logan area and surrounds.

Proudly sponsored by Frasers Property Australia, Bush Babes continues to be initiated, designed and bought to the community by a local mothers group based within the Brookhaven Estate. Babies, toddlers and kindy aged children meet every week, across two locations, to engage in quality nature play.

Loganholme OSHC Forest School Day 2023
Over forty children activated the forest school area of Loganholme State School, bringing it to life with hut building, water colour painting, clay creations and a messy mud kitchen.

Mental Health Week Wellness Event 2023
Bush Kindy Teaching was engaged to provide a 'relaxation zone' for this community event supporting mental health. Nature play is proven to be a relaxing and mentally beneficial practice for all ages.

Four week program providing playgroup for all ages where parents, grand parents, children 0-12yr engaged in unstructured play to welcome in Autumn. This program certainly revived the art of uninterrupted play for all involved.

What a joy to be invited by a group of neighbours to facilitate a bush kindy. We connected, played and ate bush-tucker in the bushlands at the end of their street. A truly community lead experience.

Hosted by KENG (Kingston East Neighbourhood Group), Daisy Hill Bush Playgroup families meet each week in the beautiful bushlands of the conservation park. We are so lucky to be joined by a family of wallabies, many kookaburras and koalas.

Hosted by KENG Tudor Park, students enjoyed creating art out of natural loose parts. Each artwork is individual, reflecting the students sense of identity and belonging in their community.

Hosted by the Australian Institute of Play, the arboretum was bustling across two days with families, educators, university staff celebrating Logan's play action plans and working together to ensure play is at the heart of the community.

Market Day 2023
The students of Griffith University hosted a market day to 'recharge and unwind' after a big year. Bush Kindy Teaching was engaged by Griffith University to provide a facilitated bush playgroup. This free event provided a meeting place for families to build new friendships and connections.

Bush Kindy Teaching provided early childhood staff training and support in ways to incorporate nature into their outdoor play environment. This combined three day program included professional development sessions followed by hands on learning onsite.

Bush Kindy Teaching values literacy skills through play. The Wilbert the Worm Program @ KENG invited us to support children's preliteracy skills through building fine motor skills, self expression and imaginative play.

School Holiday Program 2023
A June school holiday program for local residents of Brookhaven Estate. We invited school aged children to turn an empty oval into a bush play wonderland. Children nature journaled, created feather and leaf crowns and got messy in the mud kitchen. It was nice to see both the young and older aged school children exploring play together.

HIPPY Gathering 2023
The Government funded HIPPY Program (Home Interaction Program for Parents and Youngsters), invited Bush Kindy Teaching to host their quarterly gathering with an excursion to Daisy Hill. Caregivers, parents and children interacted one-on-one and in groups to a custom program designed to complement HIPPY values.

A KENG supported children's bush play activation. Parents and children from the local community enjoyed listening to 'Little Birdy' story time, followed by story inspired clay creations.

This two day professional development program covered the benefits of high quality outdoor play for growing healthy young brains. The HIPPY tutors gained valuable knowledge and hands on learning to ensure families in Logan have the opportunity for increased access to nature play.
